so, in the past few days (since monday i mean) i have read Anansi Boys (Gaiman), Neverwhere (Gaiman again), and The Book of Imaginary Beings (Jorge Luis Borges).

i´ve kind of just been reading.

a lot

but i like it better that way

i´ve also been shopping, much fun. there was this amazing indian shop (indian from India i mean) with awesome ethnic clothes and jewelry. um, really good smelling inscence...so i bought some, and a necklace with Ganesha (elephant god = much love). going back later on (with money) to get a shirt i think.

a really swanky shop called ¨SHOGA¨ which is more or less the most expensive store in antigua. got a shirt there, going back.

fun fun fun

my cousin´s getting married today. helped her with stuff, now i´m killing time.

my head hurts from reading so much.

i´ve been eating a lot, a really good restaurants. like ´la fonda´ and ´fridas´and ´cenicientas´

i have, thus, gained rather a lot of weight. i think

Wow, you sound like your having a cool time in Guatemala! I hope you New Years was fun! :)
I've been reading a lot too....but it's for school.
Was the wedding good? Pretty? Happy? Lovely?
Weddings are so much fun. My redneck cousin got married last year and had a giant chocolate fountain at the reception....(so amazing).

Re: Merry Merry Commentary
guatemala is always fun (just got back from the trip home actually)

new years was pretty cool. my uncle (whose house we stay in) had this party with a bunch of his friends who are pro-football players from argentina (pro like, you see them on all the soccer channels) and their girlfriends (who were really cute). so i hung out with them and tried to converse and my dad cooked a really great dinner and we sat out on the top story (which is partially open air) and watched fireworks for a bit even though it was a tad damp and cloudy.

reading is something i make a habit of doing all the time, i dont quite know why, but i like it -^__^-

weddings..i dont get the big deal, but it was nice i spose. my cousin was kind of brought-up-ish by my parents so they acted as her parents during the church-y part and stuff, even though her mother was there. um, she was really pretty though and my younger relations made darling flower girls and one of them kicked my brother which made her all the more darling so there.

ah, the reception was very...spanish

the place where the reception was held was absolutely gorgeous and exotic and partially outside with tons of tiny lights, roaming peacocks, fireworks and fancy (normal) fountains. i have pictures for later-ish.

lots of loud fast music and dancing, not much food, lots of liquor, no chocolate fountain, but a giant dutch chocolate cake. tons of tons of people, and a quite a few non-related, really cute latin boys who were all enamoured of my more beautiful and latin cousins. oh well.

weddings are okay.

i have to say i actually got bored during the end and tired of dancing (around 2 in the morning, when the party started at 8-ish and ended at 3)so i went outside and re-read 'The Book of Imaginary Beings'

um, the end

That all sounds so pretty (the wedding and the Latin people). I would have been stalking the peacocks. I didn't know your dad cooked. Cool. I can't wait to see you wednesday! <3
